The "Take a View Landscape Photographer of The Year" is one of the most popular photography competitions in the UK. The winner receives £10,000 and a lifetime of fame and fortune. I think. Each year a book is produced of the shortlisted/commended images and there is usually some great work in there, also some very well-respected photographers are judges so to get in the book would be a big achievement.
Anyway, last year I thought about entering for the first time and left it to the last minute and missed the deadline. This time I managed to leave it until two days before the cut-off point leading to a bit of a manic evening trying to work out which images to select - here are my 25 entries.
